Getting started with Content & Language Integrated Learning (CLIL

This course introduces you to Content and Language Integrated Learning, or CLIL. First and foremost, it suggests content and language are never separated, which means as a language teacher you already teach some content. Next, the course describes educational contexts in which content and languages are merged, gives an updated CLIL definition, introduces the notion of hard and soft CLIL, and finally gives reasons why you might consider a more consistent approach to content in your everyday English language teaching.
